The new short pulse fiber laser
Marking laser machines are pulsing the light. That means that the laser light is emitted in portions (so called pulses). Mostly these pulses can not be changed.
With the 20 watt short pulse fiber laser Mega-Light M20 it is possible to adjust the pulse. That way pulses of up to up 500 kHz can be realized. The combination of short pulses and high frequencies is for instance good for realizing sensitive laser markings. Therefore the M20 is very good for marking plastics or medical instruments.
Another advantage of the short pulse fiber laser technology is the very short marking time. Therefore the M20 is especially suited for marking (very) large numbers of parts.
The M20 consists of a MOPA laser source, an easy to operate marking software, a marking space of 140 x 140 mm and a protection cabinet of the laser class 1. Moreover all Mega-Light marking lasers have an aiming beam to display the dimension, position and to focus.
If you need an even larger marking space it is also possible to combine the short pulse fiber laser with the laser safety cabinet of the Mega-light Plus Series. That way the marking space can be enlarged to 530 x 180 mm.
Various accessories, such as rotary axes and camera and sensor systems complete our product portfolio.
Moreover we offer the special software solution Any-Marker, which offers the possibility to connect the marking laser M20 to existing company data bases.
