Microdot Marker / Microdot engraving
from Schilling Marking Systems
The oscillating needle is powered by compressed air and therefore engraves the material
by leaving many fine dots close to one another. Fonts, symbols, drawings, matrix codes and serial numberings can be "pressed"
in through the impact of the needle.
We offer various microdot models with different marking areas and different features. The
speed, the fineness of the marking and the impact are easily adjustable. A vast selection of needles are available, including
diamond tipped needles for engraving materials that are harder than 62 HRC.
Depending on the model type, the machines can be controlled by your PC or by a PDA
(handheld).
Suitable for individual components, as well as small, medium and mass produced
articles.
The Microdot Marking Technology is especially suitable for:
- Deep engravings
- Work pieces exposed to abrasions
- Subsequent coatings
- Matrix-Codes, Data with Pre- and Suffix Functions
- Serial numberings
- For small / medium / large series
