SCHILLING is the specialist for diode-pumped
laser systems. This is the most efficient technology for Industry, as it has a
much higher performance level (30-50%) than the lamp-pumped models (2-3%
efficiency). This is also the reason why the power source of the MegaLight™
lasers only require a few hundred Watts, and why the water cooling device has
been replaced by a more economic air cooling device.
SCHILLING offers various laser models with
different wavelengths for marking different types of materials. Our laser range
includes infra-red models with a wavelength of 1064nm (for marking steel), as
well as green light (532nm) and ultra-violet light models (355nm) for engraving
plastics and semiconductor materials. All of these laser systems have three axes
that allow a vast variety of work pieces to be marked. In order to monitor even
more I/O-signals, up to four expansion boards can be connected to the control
units.
